Gear Drives

Gear drives help provide the opportunity for young boys in the Dominican Republic to play the game of baseball by collecting used (or new) baseball gear off of the ILB needs list and donating them.

Leading a gear drive is a simple and practical way for you, your team, or your community to have a real impact on the life of young men in the Dominican Republic. All you need to do is:

  1. Organize a drive date/time and gather items from our Needed Resources List.
  2. Enclose $2 per lb. of gear collected (check payable to COTN/ILB) to cover cost of shipping to the Dominican Republic and proper dispersal. (ex. 50lb = $100)
  3. Send/deliver collected gear to one of the below locations:

In California:
Children of the Nations/ILB
2681 Walnut Avenue
Tustin, CA 92780

In Florida:
Children of the Nations/ILB
1100 N. Ferncreek Ave.
Orlando, FL 32803

All other states:
Children of the Nations/ILB
11992 Clear Creek Rd.
Silverdale WA 98383

You and your team could also deliver the gear yourselves by signing up for a Venture Team!

If you plan on collecting more than 200 lbs, or have any other questions, please contact Ben Holman benjamin@ilovebaseball.org to coordinate further details.
